There was a season in my life when I felt tired, confused, and deeply broken on the inside. The world kept telling me to be strong on my own, to push through, to smile and keep going even when everything inside me felt out of place. But in the middle of that quiet struggle, God met me honestly and lovingly, and nothing was ever the same again.
God didn’t ask me to be perfect. He didn’t require me to have all the answers or to understand everything. He simply loved me. And it was that love that began to transform everything.
Little by little, I realized that God doesn’t just come to heal what is wounded He comes to make all things new. Scripture says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Today, I can say with confidence that this isn’t just a beautiful verse it is a living reality. God gave me a new identity, a new way of seeing life, and a renewed hope.
Living in a world that constantly says the opposite is not easy. The world tells us that joy depends on circumstances, that peace only comes when everything is in order, and that faith is fragile when problems arise. But God has shown me that true joy doesn’t come from what surrounds me it comes from Who lives within me.
The trials didn’t disappear overnight. There were moments of uncertainty, tears, fear, and unanswered questions. Yet it was in those very moments that God made me stronger. Every challenge became a place of growth, every battle an opportunity to trust Him more deeply, and every fall a reminder that His grace always holds me.
My faith didn’t grow because life became easier—it grew because God remained faithful in the hard moments. I’ve learned that being made new in Christ doesn’t mean a life without struggles; it means a life that is accompanied, sustained, and transformed by His love.
Today, I walk with the assurance that I am not defined by my mistakes, my fears, or my past. I am defined by His love, His truth, and the work He continues to do in me every single day. God is still renewing me, still teaching me how to live with joy, even when the world insists that it’s not possible.
If you are walking through a season of trials, I want to remind you of this: God is not finished with you. He is still working, still shaping your character, and still strengthening your faith. What feels like a struggle today will become a testimony tomorrow.
Because when God makes us new, He doesn’t just change our story—He changes the way we live it.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
