This Is Not Just the Face of Anxiety
It’s the Face of Freedom, Faith, and a Daughter of the King.
I’m not perfect. I’ll be the first to admit it.
There are days when the storm still rages when doubts press in hard, and my heart feels fragile. Moments when anxiety shows up uninvited, disguised as racing thoughts, sleepless nights, and fears that don’t even have a name.
But now, something has changed:
I no longer face the storm alone.
Now I walk with Jesus.
And that changes everything.
He Walks With Me Through the Storm
He never promised life would be easy.
He never said the rain wouldn’t fall.
But He did promise something greater: His presence, His peace, and His victory.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.”
— Isaiah 43:2
His Peace Is Real
This peace isn’t surface-level. It’s not dependent on circumstances or emotions.
It’s a divine calm that reaches deep into the heart, quiets anxious thoughts, and gently reminds me:
“I am with you. You are safe.”
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
— John 14:27
His Love Is Stronger
Stronger than past wounds.
Stronger than the fear that whispers, “You’ll never change.”
His love holds me in every moment and reminds me who I am in Him:
chosen, forgiven, deeply loved.
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
— Jeremiah 31:3
His Victory Is Also Mine
I didn’t earn it.
But He gave it freely.
And now, I can walk in freedom because Jesus already overcame every fear and darkness I face.
“But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:57
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
— Romans 8:37
💥 This Is Not Just the Face of Anxiety…
It may look like weakness to the world.
But to heaven it’s the face of a fighter.
The face of someone who knows where her help comes from.
💥 The face of freedom
💥 The face of faith, even when it trembles
💥 The face of a daughter of the King walking with scars, but also with hope
Grace Over Strength
It’s not about my strength anymore.
It’s about His grace.
And if you’re standing in your own storm right now, please know this:
There is hope for you too.
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Jesus is still lifting up the weary.
Still healing the broken.
Still bringing peace to the anxious.
And still calling His daughters home.
Final Reflection
You might feel weak today.
You might feel like you can’t take one more step.
But hear this:
You are not alone.
You are not defeated.
Jesus is reaching out His hand and calling you:
“Daughter.”
And that truth changes everything.
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in His love He will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”
— Zephaniah 3:17
